According to the most recent statistics, the number of active Ethereum 2.0 Beacon Chain validators is steadily increasing, as evidenced by the fact that it has surpassed 200,000.
Ethereum 2.0‘s first phase began on December 1, 2020, and the network has already reached a critical milestone with 200,000 active validators.
Since the beginning, the number of Ethereum 2.0 validator nodes has been steadily increasing, nearly nonstop.
Every day, on average, 1000 new validators join the network. This means that when the main Blockchain ETH is united with ETH 2.0, as predicted by Vitalik Buterin, the number of validators might exceed 400,000. It might happen in around six months, according to Vitalik, who spoke at the World Blockchain Conference 2021 two days ago.
Since its inception in December of last year, the number of active validators on the Ethereum 2.0 Beacon Chain has increased by more than 850 percent.
