Cryptocurrencies, according to Ron DeSantis, are the way to go.
Every day, it seems like a new politician comes out in favor of cryptocurrency. Today is no different, with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis expressing his support for cryptocurrency. He indicated that he was searching for a means for companies to pay their taxes using digital assets.
He said at a news conference yesterday that,
“I’ve told the state agencies to figure out ways, where if a business wants to pay tax in cryptocurrency to Florida, we should be willing to accept that.”
According to Bloomberg, the governor has expressed interest in cryptocurrency and has been working on incorporating it for some time.
While DeSantis supports decentralized digital assets, he has expressed reservations about the prospect of establishing the US CBDC, or Digital Dollar.
As younger generations of politicians rise to power in the United States, more state authorities are beginning to favor cryptocurrencies. According to numerous data, persons under the age of 40 are more open to digital assets than those over 40.
