South Korea’s Ministry of ICT, Science, and Future Planning has pledged $187 million to build a Metaverse ecosystem to assist the proliferation of digital content and corporate growth.

According to the official announcement, the monies will be used to complete numerous objectives to construct a massive digital environment known as the Expanded Virtual World.

The government agency also plans to use its metaverse as a platform to promote virtual industrial growth in education, media, and cities.
