Israel’s Mossad, one of the world’s largest intelligence services with an annual budget of around 10 billion shekels (the US $3.1 billion), is adding bitcoin experts to its ranks.
Israel’s national intelligence agency announced its official website, where it advertised a position for a Technology Leader in the field of fintech.
An individual interested in applying for this post must have an in-depth technical understanding of fintech and digital currencies and at least three years of experience in the field of fintech, according to Mossad.
Mossad is responsible for information gathering, clandestine operations, and counter-terrorism and employs roughly 7,000 people. It is distinct from Israel’s democratic institutions because no law defines its goal, aims, duties, missions, powers, or budget, and it is exempt from the State of Israel’s constitutional rules. The deep state is a term used to describe Mossad.
