According to recent data, job ads relating to digital currencies and blockchain technology have increased dramatically in the last year. Indeed, job postings in the nascent business increased by 37% in August compared to the same month last year. On the platform, demand for this employment has increased by 76%.

The digital currency market in India has experienced an influx of investors, with exchanges reporting a surge in new registrations and trading volume. Blockchain technology is also gaining popularity among private businesses and government agencies. With increased adoption has come increased expansion for local businesses and, as a result, a dramatic increase in demand for blockchain talent.

According to the Indeed data, blockchain jobs have increased by 138 percent since August 2018.

According to the Chainalysis 2021 Global Crypto Adoption Index, India is ranked second for digital currency adoption, trailing only Vietnam. In terms of on-chain value received, the country came in second. The country had not even made the top ten by 2020, demonstrating the country’s tremendous expansion in the previous year.

Kumar continued,

“While cryptocurrency development promises to be an exciting new field of work and offers tremendous scope for application, the sector is still in a very nascent stage. With the demand for such jobs increasing on our platform is an indication of even more jobs being created in the sector in the future.”
