Hill Helicopters has decided it is time to welcome a new type of customer: those who like to pay using Bitcoin.
The business, making a name for itself by building the world’s first private helicopter, delivered some good news for Bitcoin supporters today.
Hill Helicopters notes that interest in Bitcoin payments is growing, prompting them to allow their customers to pay in Bitcoin and form a relationship with CoinCorner, the country’s top crypto exchange.
Clients of Hill Helicopters can now use the BTC payment option, which provides several benefits to both the company and its customers, including global customer reach, lower rates, and even fraud prevention.
Jason Hill, founder, and CEO of Hill Helicopters said:
- In what was a first for Hill Helicopters, we have just accepted payment in Bitcoin from a client for the HX50 helicopter, with several more to follow. This was processed through CoinCorner and represents an exciting new dimension to placing an order for this stunning luxury aircraft, one that will particularly suit private pilot-owners.
CoinCorner is ecstatic, according to Ben Collins, business development manager, because this collaboration will assist in boosting Bitcoin usage in the aviation sector.
Ben also mentions that they see a surge in BTC payments for valuable automobiles, as proven by their partners Rex Motor Company and SkillanNaylor Car Company, who sold multiple cars for Bitcoin for an average of £40,000 each.
