The first school in Dubai, Citizens School, has announced that it would accept cryptocurrency payments for tuition fees. When the school opens in September 2022, it will accept Bitcoin and Ethereum as payment methods.
In addition to standard ways of payment and interest-free monthly payment choices, Citizens School offers flexible payment alternatives. As previously stated, cryptocurrency payments will be accepted through a partnership with a digital currency company that processes cryptocurrency payments and converts them to Emirati dirhams immediately (AED).
This shift to crypto payments comes after the Dubai government recently passed its first law governing virtual assets, which provides investors with a secure and advanced legal framework.
